Supplemental Fig. 1. A representation of the seven morphological characters exhibiting statistically significant differences between L. beloncioi, new species, from the Mindoro (yellow) and Palawan (blue) clades (differences non-significant after adjustments for multiple comparisons; see text). Box plots show mean, first and third quartiles, and the range of the measurements. All measurements are regressed against SVL. For character abbreviations see Materials and Methods.

Supplemental Fig. 2. Bean plots representing the measurements of L. acanthi (Palawan) and L. beloncioi, new species (Mindoro), for both localities and sexes for all 15 morphological characters measured for this study. Horizontal bars represent mean values. With the exception of SVL itself, all other measurements are regressed against SVL. For character abbreviations see Materials and Methods. A star indicates that we detected a significant difference between the Palawan (blue) and Mindoro (yellow) clades. Male/female symbols indicate that we detected a significant difference between male (dark shades) and female (light shades) for that character.
